Our Story

Earth Energy Education is born from a passion  to embrace a greener future by educating and empowering our children. We are a group of teaching professionals working in the UK, US and Africa. We are all passionate about nature and are attracted to renewable energy sites with a strong biodiversity focus that we can use to educate children.

Our work is underpinned by the National Curriculums of each area, with curriculum links identified for teachers. Our aim is to ensure that learning is hands on, experiential and fun. We know that you learn better when you’re having fun.

Our focus on Green STEM Careers is guided by research into young people’s science and careers aspirations from the Institute of Education, their Science Capital Teaching Approach and recent research into the Stem skills gap. We know many of the children we teach will find their careers in this industry.

We have been deeply inspired by the climate campaigns led within schools to put climate change on the agenda and in the curriculum. Our own research, combined by recent research from Oxfam has also focused our attention on delivering and signposting more teacher training in climate literacy.
