We are delighted to present our 2025 Impact Report. 

This year we have facilitated over 10,000 student experiences outside the classroom and enabled young people across the UK to engage with real-world renewable energy projects. This year we were thrilled to take part in two Step into STEM 2026 events in Thurso and Wick, building on our partnership with Developing the Young Workforce in the Highlands.

As someone passionate about experiential learning, I truly believe there’s nothing quite like getting out of the classroom to explore sustainability in action.

It will be two years in December since I made the decision to step away from my teaching career. At that time, I would never have imagined being in the profession I am today, but every day, I am thankful that I am. 

Many children have little exposure to careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and often do not know how to pursue a path in these fields. As a professional working in STEM, you have a unique opportunity to change this by sharing your experiences with young people.
